Rochester Hills Sprinkler Winterization & Blowouts
City-water and pump-fed irrigation systems. Schedule before sustained freezing weather arrives.
Rochester Hills Sprinkler Winterization: Real City-Water Field Work From the 2026 Season
Hunter HydroTech documented current Rochester Hills city-water sprinkler winterization work during the 2026 fall season, adding real local proof to the technical winterization information already available on this site.
Current Rochester Hills winterization proof
The purpose of this project report is not to repeat a generic explanation of Michigan winterization. It records that Hunter HydroTech is actively performing and documenting sprinkler winterization in Rochester Hills during the 2026 season.
This documented system was city-water supplied. The irrigation source is isolated appropriately and the active sprinkler stations are worked through with controlled air so water can be displaced from the field system before winter.
Why the water source matters
A city-water system can include an irrigation shutoff, exposed plumbing, backflow equipment, mainline, valves and individual zones. A pump-fed system can add a pump, relay, suction or intake equipment, filtration and other source-side components.
Hunter HydroTech identifies the actual installed system before applying a seasonal procedure.
Winterization is also a useful final system check
Operating the stations can reveal a zone that does not activate, a valve that behaves abnormally, a damaged sprinkler head or another condition worth recording for spring.
Rochester Hills field work also includes leak diagnosis, valve repairs, older underground fittings, backflow work and controller upgrades. That repair history helps distinguish a normal seasonal condition from an irrigation problem that deserves additional diagnosis.
